THE REVENGE OF
DANCING JIM!
After losing 83 straight games of chess to Raul, Dancing Jim proposed the following new game. The first player selects any integer from 1 to 11 inclusive. The second player adds any positive integer from 1 to 11 inclusive to the number selected by the first player. They continue in this manner alternately. The player who reaches 56 ( Joe Schmidt's old number) wins the game. Raul, being the nice guy that he is, lets Dancing Jim decide each time who the first player should be. Dancing Jim then proceeds to win 83 straight games. Explain Dancing Jim's winning strategy.
