After a long day of teaching high school mathematics, Jill found her husband, Dancing Jim, engrossed in a chess book (in a feeble attempt to break his 83 game losing streak against Raul). Jill needed to relax and have some fun, so she decided to challenge her friend & colleague Anne to a walking race. Jill placed a basket exactly 19,950 feet from a tree. In the opposite direction she placed 200 apples in a row, each apple one foot away from the other with the first apple being right next to the basket. Jill bet Anne that she could walk to the tree and back faster than Anne could put all of the apples in the basket. Anne is not allowed to move the basket. Assuming that they walk at the same rate and ignoring the time it takes Anne to pick up the apples and put them into the basket, who will win the bet? Explain your answer.
