Winter 1999                   LET'S  PLAY  BALL!!!
Week #9

After hitting a single, Tony "the Tiger" Clark's batting average went up exactly 10 points. If this was not his first hit, how many hits does he now have?  Note: A batting average is the quotient: number of base hits/number of at-bats; it is a real number between 0 and 1 and is given to three significant digits. An increase of ten "points" refers to an increase in this average of exactly 10/1000.
