Nonconforming Methods for Electromagnetics

Abstract. New nonconforming methods for time-harmonic Maxwell equations will be discussed. These methods combine techniques from classical nonconforming methods for incompressible flows and techniques from discontinuous Galerkin methods for second order elliptic boundary value problems. Theoretical and numerical results for both the source problem and the eigenproblem will be presented.
