Title: En ring spectra and their module categories

Abstract:

We have known for 10 years or so that an E_1 (=A-infinity) ring spectrum R has a nice stable category of R-modules and that if R is an
E-infinity ring spectrum, then the category is symmetric monoidal.  It turns out E_4 is good enough for this structure on the homotopy category.
