The conference is partially supported by The National
Science Foundation and Wayne State University. Some very limited amount of
funding is available to support some young researchers without their own
funding. Graduate students and post-doctors are encouraged to fill out the
registration form and send it back to midwpde@math.wayne.edu or fax it back
at the number 313-577-7596 as soon as you can to request for support. A double
shared room for two nights (Friday and Saturday) at the St. Regis Hotel near campus
is possible to support some of the graduate students and post-doctors depending
on the availability of funding. We are sorry that we are not able to provide any
travel support.

กค 54th Midwest PDE Seminar Preliminary Program
Organizing Committee: Paul Chow, William Cohn, Guozhen Lu (Chair), Jose-Luis Menaldi, Bertram Schreiber and Peiyong Wang.
The conference will be held on the campus of Wayne State University located in Detroit's culture center, from Friday November 19 to Sunday November 21,2004. It is planned to start at 2:00pm on Friday and end at 12:30pm on Sunday. Room 1515 in School of Law on campus has been reserved for the conference. Some logistics supports are provoided by Departmental Staff Barb Malicke, Jim Veneri and and Joyce Wynne.
Conference Housing: A block of rooms have been reserved at the St. Regis Hotel near campus. The phone number of the hotel is (313)-873-3000 and the number for reservations is (800)848-4810. We have negotiated special rates for the conference participants. Please contact us at midwpde@math.wayne.edu before you want to make your own reservations so that we know how many rooms are needed.
